Default In Search of: Heiser LP50?? (need a little help)

I have this single tank I can't totally identify (tank experts step in here...) Appears to be an LP45 or LP50. Side by Side with my LP50's it looks nearly identical in size. Tank is marked "Heiser", which sounds familiar but i"ve never owned any tanks made by this brand.

    Markings:

    M8304 Heiser DF5438 11/98 REE39ML SCC TC-3AA M183 SPUN

I'd like to find a match for this single if anyone has one lying around. Also any info on this tank (volume) would be helpful.

    Thanks!

Is this threaded for those metric valves that are almost the same as normal US valves but will explode?

    Don’t get exploded.

The tank chart on Huron Scuba lists a Heiser LP45, might be yours?

A long time ago, in a far away dive center in Branford, Dustin Clessi sold Heiser tanks. All I remember was that a battleship anchor was slightly more buoyant.
I would be worth touching base. He might even still have some around.

It's got the DOT stamp, as opposed to a CE mark, so should be the imperial "normal" thread, right? The only metric threaded tanks I ever had were marked CE, and I think even M25. Doesn't mean they're all that way, though, I suppose.

this tank doesn't feel much (if any) heavier than the faber LP50. based on the chart reference provided in the other response, looks like less than .4lb heavier. I'm guessing the additional weight is from thicker walls as the diameter and height compared to my faber are pretty much identical.

I'd still like to find a match for this guy if anyone has one lying around. Is Dustin Clessi still around?
