May just be wishful thinking, but there's no more closure banner on the park's home page. Anyone know if it's actually open?

No way is it open for diving. It went under at 44.5' and it's currently at 51.53'.

The stats were starting to look really good up until Jan 24 based on a rain event. Flow was rippin, conductance good, and temperature warm.

From the link below, with the timeframe set to 70 days. Look at the water temp & conductance graphs. That will tell u between river vs. cave water

its been down since then. In any case, Madison will need time to clear up
discharge level guidance...i usually dive madison in the 120cfs range and its quite pleasant. Cant imagine @ 300cfs lol
Before the state owned the site (the Bruic's owned it), and water measurements were being taken, I recall a dive with screaming flow. This is when you could scooter Madison. We were on speed 9, and having to pull ourselves along. We reached just past Martz, and my buddy stuck out his thumb like I hitchhiker to indicate surface, because there was no turning around to look at each other. He flew by me at Mach 1, and I proceeded to make one of the most stupid mistakes I made in cave diving. To turn around I let off the trigger, which caused the scooter to get caught in the flow, and smack me in the head hard. I regained composure and oriented out, and got back on the trigger. I think the dive was 30+ min in, and less than 5 minutes out.
