Well it turned out to be nice and warm day (85*). Most of the time there were clouds and some sun and at times it would be more sun then clouds.

Got to the spring head and there was TS, DDB, JC already there. DDB and JC were already geared up and starting to get in. They had to tell me aobut the ugly duck, When I say ugly I mean UGLY that was hanging around down there. Started to get my gear and stuff ready to go and talked with TS about what kind of a dive plan he would like to do.

We decided to go to the 600' marker and then turn the dive and I was going to let him lead and take a better glance at times just for fun. If you know me, you might see why he got to lead. Then again TS is used to my pace with all the years and dives we have done. Plan was to try to stay aout of mandatory deco per our computers.

Entered and used the reel that JC and DDB put in, they knew we would use it so no big deal to them. TS in the lead and we meet up with the other group as they exit at the 70' loop that we hang deco bottles on. TS and I go on down and get into the lower tunnel and I start looking at the time. As we continue in I look around and notice that we have passed the 600 foot arrow and he turns the dive at the 650 arow. On the way out I look for the 600 foot arrow and do not see it. When TS turned the dive, I look at the the time and mark it down. When we get to just outside of the lower tunnel I mark the time again.

As we start our way up and make our planed stops I showed 1 minute of deco when we get to the 100 foot stop. At the 70 foot stop and during the gas switch I have 2 minutes. Get to the top of the stair case and work our way out and burn off the computer deco. Still make a 20 foot stop for 3 minutes to be safe.

Have a great time during our SI and hang with the others and just BS about everything you can almost think of.

Second dive I lead and set a spool at the top of the staircase for a jump to t he dome line. We decided to run it back wards and do a visual from mainline to the dome line at the 75 foot cookie. The other group will pull the spool since they will come in a few minutes after we do.

Had some great times and dive with the guys.
