Default What's the water level at Ginnie?

When I left on there on the 20th it was nearing the platform (last step). Thinking about heading back on the 2nd or 3rd.

    Thanks in advance.

    Jeff

It is currently just over the banks and Turkey Roost is completely flooded but the cave is holding.

Dove the Bat Circuit today. 5 primary lines running on the Eye. . Platforms are dry. Only two dry steps. Kind of like doing a boat entry. Bottom of the Eye is at 22 feet. Colder water at deco depth in the Eye. Clear water throughout.

Thanks. On Thursday the water was just a bit lower, and there was only one line running in Eye. I was there Friday early (trying to beat the rain) and it was super peaceful. Did the jump to the line that comes back to July Springs line, very, very nice. By the time I got back to the stairs you couldn't see a thing with a couple of divers totally silting up the run. Started to pour when I was hauling my gear from platform - great day.

Water is slowly going down. However, the conditions are sooo much better than Dec 21 which is just shy of 1' drop in level.

On Dec 21, the going down the eye was yellow'ish. Viz throughout was hazy.

Yesterday, it was basically back to normal past the park bench with lower flow than usual. Even with the many people in the system...it was quite nice
