    Default Gavin Standard DPV

I have an extra Gavin scooter I don't need anymore:

Has the newer tapered HDPE backend.
Comes with charger and carry stand.
Already setup for DIR standards. Tow leash on nose. Left handle removed (but I still have it). Standard pull cord with SS bolt snap.
Originally owned by David Rhea, of the WKPP. Owned for short time by another person (but not used much if any) and I'm the 3rd owner.
Great condition - hardly used in the last 3 years. Age of scooter is approx. 10 yrs.
Last burn test was Nov 2016. Tested at 75 min, so probably looking at needing new batteries, which can be had on Amazon for $140 for a pair. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
With new batteries, it will get up to 120 min burn time.
    $900 for the setup.

I won't be at the Midwest conference, but could deliver to Roubidoux the Friday before the conference. I prefer not to mess with shipping it, but willing to do so if someone really wants it.

Will try to post pics later. It's in great shape. The PVC body is scraped up, but everything else is good.
    PM if interested.

    Thanks,
    Chris

    Bump.

I've talked with a few interested people, which has caused me to look closer at shipping. So, I am willing to ship (probably best to not ship with batteries). Weight without batteries is around 40 - 45 lbs, plus weight of packing materials.

Happy to answer any questions and/or entertain offers. Just shoot me a PM.

    Thanks,
    Chris

You are correct. If I could figure out how to edit that original post, I would. Thanks for pointing out that fact.

No speed electronics. You manually adjust the prop pitch. While scootering, stop, adjust the prop pitch by turning the yoke, then take off again.
