Moving to Yucatan

My wife and I are seriously considering moving to the Yucatan next March. So much so we have started to organize things. If you were going to move there, where would you choose to live on the penisula to be central to the best cave diving?

Is there a cave diving board that focuses on MX and the divers living there? This board seems to be focused on FL.

I moved to the Yucatan in 2001 and stayed for 5 years enjoying all the cave diving. I took my truck and a travel trailer and stayed at a place called Paamul, right on the water and close to lots of cenotes. Look up Paamul on the internet for more info. Also look up Diablodivers.com. Dennis lives in Paamul, a wonderful diver and friend and could give you lots of tips on getting settled. It's not for everybody but Paamul is 10 miles south of Playa Del Carmen where you will find a Sams and a new Walmart, and McDonalds. What more could you want.
