POS Gavin Short Body Scooter

Not knocking the Gavins, just this scooter. I bought it off fb and had it shipped. It is NiMH.

Relay was damaged during shipment and doesn't work. I can manually engage the relay and the scooter will kick on. I've tested the switch and it works.

I know nothing about the history of the batteries. They will hold a charge but that is all I can confirm. There are 5 packs, I had 6 but more on that later.

The scooter is not pretty and has its fair share of scratches. It is not PVC.

Charger is also a POS but comes with the sale. It is not a smart charger and will not shut off. Remember that 6th battery pack I used to have. I can send what's left of you really want. I suggest a new charger at least.

I ended up with a viper and just want to cut my loss. $700
Too much less and I'll just keep it and convert it to lithium...eventually.

I may be driving to Jacksonville this weekend and can throw it in the car.

I commend your honesty and how humorous it is. I bought a ds from a guy on sb that completely lied about its custom dimensions. I had no recourse to get my cash back.
So props to the honesty(as expected among people here).

I would not mind looking at it if you are coming near High Springs/Ft White. Wife needs a smaller/cheaper scooter. I'd have to look at it good to see if it's worth the effort.

Overall it's not a bad deal. I'm just frustrated with it. I'm heading to Jacksonville this week. If I drive I'll throw it in the car.

I have seen this scooter. It is a good deal at $700.00. I feel DPV Repair in Belleview could have it in tip top shape for very little money. The scooter is in good shape. The owner is so honest that after you see it you will be pleasantly surprised.
