    Default Big dome helmet?

Any recommendations for a large helmet? My dome is 24 " without a hood. I tried a friend's light monkey helmet that had the suspension system pulled out and it would barely fit without a hood.

Get a cheap bike helmet at WalMart with a hard shell and rip out the liner material.

They come in different sizes and you can get what will fit.

I also made my helmet from a kid's skateboard helmet by ripping foam out and replace it with neoprene from an old hood.

    Default I might have...

I have a walmart bike helmet at home that ended up being too big for my noggin after I pulled out the styrofoam liner.

If you want to try it on I'll gladly give it to you if you can use it. I can drop it off at any of the dive shops local to G'ville. Let me know when you'll be in town and it'll be waiting for you.

If you want it shipped it'll probably be easier to just buy one at wally world.

I suggest this model, with the built in "slow buddy motivator".

Pull the suspension out of the LM helmet and wear it with a hood, or line it with neoprene.

Some of us it doesn't fit with or without a liner. It just perches atop our head, mocking us.

If you get a helmet for the shell, pull out all the interior foam and if it's a bit large, you can always glue scrap neoprene or something into some key spots to custom fit it. Or you can try shaving down what's there until you achieve the desired fit.
