Deco Programs
I'm seeking recommendations on a good, user friendly deco program that can be used for planning full EANx/Trimix dives. With all the software on the market I'm skeptical as to w/c one to buy. I've used the shareware version of V-Planner and wish to get opinions of Pro-Planner and Deco Planner as well; your comments, observations, experience is welcome.
I've gone through the evolution of deco software starting with DrX,then Decom,proplanner (DOS),but eventually moved to deco planner and have been very satisfied with its ease of use. There is a lot of software out there,and even worse exponential number of opinions-good luck.
Voyager Desktop Decompression System 2.08.2 is the one that I use. I've been using it since 1997 when it was version 1.32 and was sold by "Diverse Technologies" in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. "Dive Rite" in Lake City, Florida now owns and sells it, and it's much cheaper than it was when I first bought it.

My friend has the GUE program on his palm phone. It's pretty handy to be able to whip up a quick set of tables without lugging a laptop around.
Everyone spends the first nine months of life in water. The lucky ones make frequent return visits.
I use V Planner, and am very satisfied. There is a Palm version.

i use decoweenie on my palm and i am very happy. i also use decoplan just for a second opinion.
Double the the Tanks, Double the run, Add a stage for more fun..... Keep on Diving.
