Yellow aluminum 40 left on steps at peacock 1

There was a deco bottle has the name Jeremy on it that was left all day on the steps at peacock yesterday. We were leaving at 5pm and only one other group was there and they said it was not theirs. I dropped it off to Linda at Cave excursions.

How different the two sites are.
Peacock:Bottle sits all day no one touches it safely turned in.
Ginnie: Bottle hidden in a Crack or left on the steps stolen in seconds.

Was at ginnie this weekend. Some free diver pulled an o2 tank from the eye and then asked me if I knew who it belonged to. I told him that he was risking serious life repercussions to a diver still in the cave and he freaked out and took it back. Was a little annoyed but it gave me a perspective of the situation that i didn't have before. And another vote in my mind to hide my bottles way farther into the cave.
