Scooters in Manatee

In the recent past it was discussed that the park was not allowing scooters. Has this changed? Are scooters back allowed or still a no go?

You must have a Scooter DVP Etc. Certification Card.

I hear there is a booming Black Market from them

Larry Steed Park Manager send me a response to a letter I wrote on behalf of the NSS-CDS Members requesting the park reconsider its DPV Rule.

To my surprise Larry responded that scooters were allowed and a DPV card must be shown when checking in.

It is a great dive scooter or no scooter well worth the drive.
Get there early as the limit of divers is enforced.
We were early and barely made it in.
