Free Nitek HE

I have an HE. It was my primary for several years and worked flawlessly. Several months ago I had some troubles with it and a battery change solved the issue for half a dozen dives. Then it began acting up again and I ordered a Petrel.

The computer would not read depth correctly and during the dive would randomly enter surface mode.

Like I said the new battery fixed this temporarily. Perhaps the "new" battery wasn't very new and the problems could be fixed with a quality battery.

I don't want the computer anymore. First person who wants it gets it, FREE!, I cover shipping to US states. I paid $450 used.


Includes a well used screen protector and if I can find my replacement protector I will include that too.

If anyone needs an HE screen protector I know we still have some at work too bu those cost $$$. I only say this because there are several Niteks for sae right now.

Had the same problem, also my dive buddy. When used in cold water with an older battery, we get the same problem, so we change battries earlier.

Do you still have any screen protectors for the HE?

Yes, 2. Just found them. One hard one soft, both new. Wakulla Diving Center has them too.
