Default TDI HOG Regulator Repair Class

    Ladies, gentlemen, and cave divers,
I'm happy to announce that we will be conducting a TDI HOG regulator repair class (including TDI certification) on June 22, 2013, in Fort White, Florida. The instructor will be the same as before, regulator master Jack Schmidt from Edge-HOG. He does a fantastic job in the class and I am very pleased that he will do this for us once again.

The class is $250 per person and will include your certification card. I'm attached a tools list HOG REG Class Reqmts_sgm - v2.pdfwhich indicates required and suggested tools as well as some places where you might find them.

You must register with me (steve@mannoverboard.net to take this class as we will limit it to 7. I already have 2 people registered. The exact location is being finalized but will be in FW (possibly HS.)

I look forward to seeing you all there.
    Steve

Here's the adjustable wrench they've recommended in the past.

They seriously recommend you use an adjustable wrench rather than one that is the right size?

It should be in the requirements already.

This list just says "adjustable crescent wrench", but previous lists really seemed to like the model referenced above, with comments about how hard they were to find.

Yes, it is. The other common name is "knucklebuster", for when it inevitably slips, rounding off the corners of the nut or bolt head and allowing your knuckles to slam against something hard and sharp.

I might be a bit out of line going back to the original point of his thread...but I wanted to let any interested parties know that 4 seats have been asked for in the class leaving 3 spots once those 4 are paid.

no we seriously recommend that if you do use an adjustable wrench use a good one that works with making a mess of the reg, not a Harbor Freight special
