Light Monkey is excited to announce our first customer appreciation day on Sunday, November 4, 2012. In addition to BBQ and beer for our loyal customers, we'll have a real treat for our rebreather divers:

Rebreatherworld, Cave Alliance and ADM Exploration Foundation along with many others have organized a FREE "Rebreather Workshop," and are graciously allowing us to host. So, if you want to eat BBQ and learn from industry and exploration leaders about rebreather diving, come see us!

Is this workshop going to be geared towards those with knowledge of rebreathers or beginners? I don't know jack about rebreather but would like to attend.

Well if you know nothing about rebreathers, I assume you would learn something and its FREE, so it would be a win win for you in any case.

True. I was just worried that it might be way over my head. Although that could help peak my interest more.

Yes, much of it will most likely be over your head, but some of the worlds leading ccr cave explorers will be available to personally speak with and their equipment will be available to look over.

And you get BBQ and see all the awesome Light Monkey equipment also.

    ALL FOR FREE

James- there is going to be a very wide variety of rebreathers there- more than you would see at any try-dive event, because most of the manufacturers cant cooperate long enough to come together for one. This is the best opportunity to see each of these units- fitted for cave diving- that will probably happen short of going to DEMA or one of the really large shows, and even then you would only see the factory rigs. Already I am seeing a KISS (if Brett brings his, I assume he will) Megalodon, Optima, Revo, and a homebuilt that is actually being used for sump diving- and whatever the mystery speaker shows up with. You wont regret it, even if you don't like any of the personalities involved. Just the opportunity to poke around the machines and take pictures will be worth the price of driving towards Lake City.

I can bring my Meg with dual o2 onboard and off-board plugin for DIL/makeup gas. I have it setup so it can be removed underwater. The head is getting upgraded to a 2.7 at the moment though...
