Default Zodiac Futura MKIII Inflatable Dive Boat

Zodiac Futura MKIII inflatable boat, 2004 model. Zodiac makes the world's best inflatable boats, and the Futura is at the top of the class. This boat is extremely tough and durable; made from hypalon material instead of PVC, this boat will take a licking and keep on ticking for years to come. 15' long, sectional aluminum floor, soft bottom with inflatable keel tube for V-hull design and will accomodate up to 60HP outboard motor. Totally versatile boat... can go off shore or in inches of water on restricted water ways. This boat was just serviced by "Fairwinds Boat Repair" of St. Augustine. I invested $1350 to have all the valves overhauled and serviced, patches from previous owner removed and professionally repaired and boat was pressure tested to ensure it is air tight. Also included is the original owners manual, sales paperwork, and pressure guage. Boat will need new transom drain plugs ($10 at west marine) and a foot pump if you don't have an air compressor as I do. Specs: Beam- 6'9" Length- 14' 9" Weight- 255lbs Motor Maximum 60hp Passengers- 9

no trailer? storage a problem? no problem... boat deflates and breaks down in minutes. 5 section aluminum floor is removable, boat deflates and rolls up. Boat alone weighs approx. 190lbs, floor sections together weigh around 50-60lbs.

Great multipurpose boat for the outdoors adventurer....we have taken ours off shore in the keys to dive the reefs, up and down the Suwannee and Withalacoochie river to scoute for river caves and springs, and out on the st. johns river for fishing and fun. If you want to dive where most others can't get to, this is the boat to do it from.

New Retail $7000...... Asking $3000.... pickup in Fleming Island, FL

are you the diver that thinks he/she has every piece of sweet gear... you don't... you need this boat. It is better than a scooter. Forget peacock, ginnie and little river... the caves you want to dive arn't open to the public, they are hidden on the suwannee, withalacoochie and santafe.... maybe even the chipola.... and you can dive them, if you have the tool to access them..... a sweet recon navy seal style special opps craft. This boat is for you. Buy it.

    ICD,

I sent this ad to a friend of mine that is in the business, He is the owner of Applied Combustion Technology, they provider all of the DOD inflatable out boards that have this really unique jet drive. Anyway he thinks you might be doing yourself a dis-service Your boat is a Grand Raid not a Futura. He said if it was a futura it would be PVC. Since you say it is Hypalon and the Number plate says Mk3 GR I would be inclined to agree. Based on what he said you have a great deal here since the Grand Raid has a 20 year life expectancy and this one is only 8 years old.

Wow, that is great info... I wasn't even really sure what I had until I took it in for the repair and service work... you're info sounds spot on, so it surprises me that a Zodiac dealer didn't identify that! But you are right, it is a great boat, super tough and plenty of years left. I also have a 16' Achilles and that boat is built nowhere as solid as the zodiac. unfortunatly I owe a ton more on the achilles and can't afford to keep both. $1800... pretty good for a $7K+ boat.
