Great time kayaking the Withlacoochee today with some very interesting people; about 20 Deer Park Bottling Plant employees, families and staff. Really appreciate them taking the time to tell us (my daughter and son-in-law volunteered, too) about their operation and their commitment to protecting the springs. The river level was very high and the current swift today so there was less trash recovered than last year, but still a worthwhile effort. They are planning to do it again about the same time next year if anyone wants to help.
