    Default Ginnie area caves

Does anybody have current condition report for the caves in the High Springs, Luraville area?

Ginnie is good, P1 is good except for a nasty smell, and P3 looks normal for P3.

Dove Ginnie on Friday. Flow is down. Lowest I have seen it. Great dives. Run and cave were very clear. Headed back there this morning.

Dove Peacock yesterday. Two dives at P1. Hard to believe... But water level still getting lower. Stairs on the side barely in the water. Another foot lower and I will be concerned about the giant side in.. The basin is a little murky... 5-10 feet of viz. But as soon as you get in the cavern... Very clear. First dive was to waterhole... Got a little hazy as we neared the entrance, but was fine. Still think this is my favorite dive in this system. Second dive was up to Olsen and back. No issues. Great shape.

Was at P1yesterday as well. Almost 4 ft from lowest platform to the water. Road to the spring is pretty bad from the rain but springs arent recovering at all. If you havent seen the system in a while youll be shocked. Cavern a bit dusty but caves are clear. Mosquitoes are pretty bad to, dont forget your Off!

How is Madison? Anyone know? I'd like to hit Rocky Horror this week if at all possible. And as state in another thread... Manatee is the best I've seen it in 10+ years.

    Update on Madison....
Vis sucks until half hitch. By "sucks", I'd say probably 15'. After Half Hitch its beautiful. Lots of silt on the floor, but clear water all the way beyond the Courtyard.
