    Default Cannonball Report 5/5/12

No other divers there this morning. Hot carrying the gear down the hill in 90 degree weather wearing a drysuit. Had to get in the water fast to keep from melting.

Vis in the lake was as good as I've ever seen it. It was silty to about 10 feet (6 inch vis) - then the vis opened up to about 15 feet. I finally saw the trees and fishing line I tend to get hung up on. Lake temperature was about 76 degrees.

The spring is low flow (no boil on the surface.) No problem getting into the cave. Visibility inside was about 20 feet. Temp was 56 degrees.

Dove back to the pit on the first dive. On the second dive - focused mainly on drills - so stayed in the first 400 feet or so.

Sounds like a great dive. Looking forward to diving the cannonball again with you again some day.
