Harvey's 3-25-12

Gerri and I went into Harvey's yesterday. Basin was blown with brown alge everywhere, but the cave was pretty good. 15' feet or so vis in the Turtle Passage until 300' or so, then it improved to 30' or so, with patches of clear blue water all over the place. The passage was better than the Crystal room. Swam towards the pit, it was 20' or so the whole way. Not too bad, for Harvey's.

There are numerous deer carcasses lying around the place, some in garbage bags, some not. Didn't see any in the basin, but who knows. Could have been diving in deer soup.

How's the cave holding up now that it's become a training cave? More squirrel marks?

While there have definately been cases of cave training taking place there, I think the majority of the cave community is pretty adamant about not letting Harveys become a training cave.
