Default Caves in the Southern Caribbean?

I am a marine biologist studying and diving in inland caves with tidal, salt or brackish water. I am going on a cruise through the Southern Caribbean next week with short stops in Aruba, Curacao, Grenada, Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, St. Maarten and St. Thomas. Are there any inland caves with tidal pools, especially those that are deep and large enough for diving? Are there any cave divers in that area?

    Thanks,

    Tom Iliffe

    Tom,
The only divable caves are Hispaniola and north...you know that. ( : And of course the BEST caves are in the Bahamas! Good luck in your search my friend and safe diving,

For Hispaniola you can contact the Dominican Republic Speleological Society (DRSS), @ www.dr-ss.com. A fun crew to work with )

Have you checked Inagua? Dennis Williams was looking at some inland sinkholes there, before he died. Gene Melton has all Dennis' data.
