    Default Blue Blazes!

While on surface interval at Little River, I went for a walk, and discovered a marked trail. It starts and ends near the picnic area on the down river side of the run. One end is near the first picnic table by the Port-a-Potties. The other is just past the picnic area on the left facing the river. The trail is blazed with blue paint on the trees. It takes about half an hour to walk it at a medium pace.

Any pics? Is it well maintained?

It's not the years in your life that matter, but the life in your years.

Nice. Probably a nice place to go for a jog.

It is well maintained, in fact it looks new. I don't know how long it has been there, but it may well be new.

Tracy and I will check it out soon. We always enjoy going for walks in the woods in Florida. There's not all the tiresome walking uphill and downhill that there is here.

Hello folks, sorry I have been lurking for so long, time to catch up. The Blue Trails at little river are new. They were put in this year and many more are planned. There is a second trail on the parking lot side of the springs. If you are standing at the tank stands, look toward the river/woods edge of the parking lot. Although I have not walked any of these trails I am sure they will make a nice addition to our park.
