Default Conditions in the High Springs area

We are heading to cave country around the High Springs area. I would like to get any current cave conditions for the area. Arrival date will be December 13, 2011.

Everything is essentially clear excluding the caves which are primarily river water.

FWIW, we had Madison to ourselves yesterday, and it was about as good as it gets. Low flow and teriffic vis.

Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Peacock was crystal clear yesterday up the peanut line. Olsen side was a bit cloudy. But still very nice.

I guess we didn't silt it up too bad then!! I just did some dives there for my intro to cave class. I can't say the same about Little River though. We did a no mask exit and followed the line under some rock where it should not have gone. It sucked putting the mask back on and seeing no vis.

Anyway, what I saw was low flow and great vis. LR should be clear by now...
