Night Dives near Luraville?

I am looking to see if there is any good night dives around Luraville. Places like LR and PSSP get locked down(or don't allow dives past whenever). We will be showing up around 10pm Friday, and may want to get a dive in, or possibly get a dive in Saturday night. It's got to be BM'able, and 30'+ vis to start the dive (intro). Ginnie is out.

You can swim up river to Telford, but you'll need to "gap" very soon, so that's a short intro dive. Downstream cow is allowed if the guys at Cathy's OK it.

We dove Cow at night back in February. Got the key just before closing and tossed it into the cage when we left around 10pm. Cathy was very accommodating.

downstream cow is pretty short too as even the skinny guys only get back to about 600' or so, no? I love the dive just want to set expectations...

The Cow Siphon sounds like a pretty cool dive. We are staying at DO, so I am sure we will get a chance to talk to Cathy Friday night.

How's the vis in Peacock and Cow now? With the recent rains. Vis was awesome down the Peanut line 3 weeks ago.

I am also interested in checking out PIII... assuming the vis is over 30', and it's BM'able. Of course this is not going to be a night dive.

It's not much of one, so it's a rule that is often bent.

LOL... So how much of a siphon to be not violating standards vs technically violating standards vs really violating standards?

I think we went through this before, none of the standards for any of the agencies have no siphons as a rule.

P3 is a syphon - can be more or less on different days. It usually is poor vis - depending on where in the system. It can be very silty - with a very silty floor just about everywhere.
I say be cautious and enjoy one of Peacocks coolest caves.
