Never been, probably because the place seems to cater to recreational divers only but does the place actually have cave that someone has explored?

Do you mean Devil's Den?
i've been once. from what I remember anything passable in all the breakdown is closed off with re-bar
I took one of my open water classes there, and I have taken a couple of friends there that were newly certified OW divers. It's ok, but even the new people get bored after one or two dives.
There is one crack that looks like it might go somewhere, but they have a sign on it and it is closed with re-bar. Otherwise, all it is is a pile of rocks in about 20-30 feet of water with a couple of swim-throughs. It's ok for someone who has never dove in fresh water to dive it once, but then again, it costs the same as Ginnie, so you might as well take them there. For an overhead diver, you will be angry at yourself if you waste the money to go there.

It is a great site if you are not a cave diver. There is much more to do than in the ballroom at ginnie, but add the other caverns at ginnie and I would go there over Devil's Den. Paradise Springs is also more fun. Blue Grotto sucks in comparison though.
I go to Devil's Den several times a year to camp. Facilities are decent, it's cheap to camp, and you typically have the place to yourself.
I did a couple of PADI OW classes there. 60ffw max depth, with a few platforms and lots of decent sized catfish.
I took my underwater photography course there. You can see some of the pictures of DD on my website. Not a whole lot, and no shots on the surface, but it gives you an idea. The gentleman in the pictures was my OW instructor.
One thing mentioned while I was there, depending on the water level, some of the places usually grated off become "accessible." So prospective divers are warned in advance when those conditions exist.
BTW, cat fish are gone. Rowena (British lady at the Devil's Den office) said there was never any remains found to indicate a die-off. They just all left.
