Default Cute Comments For "Old Cave Divers"

Someone just sent these to me, and I thought some of you who have been cave diving for a long time might find them humorous. I'll be hitting the big 6-0 in November and have been cave diving since 1987, so I guess I can classify myself as an "Old cave diver".

"Old cave divers never die. They just extend their bottom time."

Reminds me of a bumper sticker that I had from the Old Branford Dive Shop back in the mid 80's.... wish I still had it.

    Cave Divers Do It Deeper

Double the the Tanks, Double the run, Add a stage for more fun..... Keep on Diving.

Cavers do it deeper, stay down longer, get wetter and always come up satisfied. 8)

Seems like I have also heard that "Cave divers do it in the dark".

Take it easy, it's not supposed to be work.

Cave Divers dive deeper & penetrate further.

I have seen that as a bumper sticker.

Sidemounters like it tight and dirty (silty).

I remember the bumper stickers that had sexual overtones.

Real cavedivers know how to lay the line.

Real cavedivers have a big REEL.

Cavedivers don't retire, they just take a long surface interval.

Most "dry" cavers don't like to be called spelunkers. That is a word conjured up by newspapers (in the '40s, I think), and it was basically used as an insult.

1987? You are just a newbie
