Default SS D-rings wanted (low profile)

I'm trying to find a good place to get some low profile SS D-rings at a reasonable price. Dive Gear Express tells me their 2" D-rings stick out 2 3/8" (low profile), and 3" for their normal D-ring. I want a few 2" D-rings that only stick out 1 1/2 to 2". Strapworks has some that might work but they are $3.25 each.

I think the low profile ones suck and are really uncomfortable to clip stuff on

The type of low profile D-ring you have on your crotch strap is too small.
But the size of the 4 D-rings on your waist strap are just right, they are 2" D-rings but they only stick out 1 1/2". Do you not like these 4? (These are the angular ones you have). Did they come with the harness?

According to DiveGearExpress their DiveRite D-rings stick out 3"! that's twice that of your waist D-rings. Too big. They sell some that are 2 3/8", but that's still big.

I don't like the low profiles, you clip more than one thing off to them they become a pain

The D-rings I want would stick out 1 1/2 to 2" so really not low profile. The guys at DGE say their D-rings stick out a lot more than that.

David - let me measure those tomorrow when I get in...those numbers can't be correct. I know for sure their shorter than they are wide and their a touch over 2-inches wide (inside the wire) to fit 2-inch webbing so they have to be less than 2". Without having one in front of me, I'm going to guess their more like 1-1/2.

If I forget to post, call the toll free number and ask for me.

It's bad luck to be superstitious.

The one crotch strap dring is the low profile one, i think they are very inconvenient to clip on and really i doubt it would make any difference in a tight cave if you used the next size up, the medium profile ones (1.5 inch) which are way easier to clip stuff on.

    Thanks,
Ya something did not sound right with the dimensions I was given.
Once I get the D-ring info I will be ready to order all the pieces to make a new harness.
    I'm interested in the following 2" D-rings:
    DRHW1062
    DRHW1062Bend
    DRHW1063 (low profile)

Also does DGE carry any small pieces of UV resistant bicycle tubing (to place on the harness to hold hoses / backup lights down etc).

    Thanks,
    Dave

I see Mike is going to measure one, but I was out at my gear this morning, and measured one. The total width is under 1 1/2", and if you measure out from the webbing, it only sticks out 1 1/8". Yep, someone made a mistake.
