    Default Heart Saver First Aid Course - April 11

    Sue Smith will be teaching the American Heart Association's "Heart Saver First Aid Course" on April 11 from 1 to 5 pm at Extreme Exposure in High Springs. The fee is $50 and includes all training materials. Participation is limited to 8 students.

    This course is the day after NACD's "Spring Into Safe Cave Diving" event at Ginnie Springs and would be a wonderful way to complete a weekend of safety.

    The American Heart Association’s Heartsaver First Aid courses effectively deliver the most comprehensive training, produced by the trusted leader in first aid and resuscitation. When it comes to first aid training, we’ve got you covered.

    The American Heart Association Difference:

    The American Heart Association is the originator of the official resuscitation and first aid guidelines used by all other training organizations. Not only do we know the science behind saving lives, we know how to effectively deliver training.
    Welcome to the American Heart Association’s Heartsaver First Aid course.

    You will be trained in techniques to perform First Aid including general principles, injuries, medical and environmental emergencies. Heartsaver First Aid is targeted at those who have a duty to respond to first aid emergencies either because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. Skill testing will be done during class. A certification card will be given after successful course completion and is valid for two years. Student materials including a workbook and CD with video clips will be provided.

    Who: This course will be open to everyone. Class size will be limited and on a first-come basis by reservation. The course fee of $50 includes all materials. Your training will be with Sue Smith, an experienced instructor who performs and teaches these skills on an everyday basis.

    When and Where: This course will be offered as a complement to NACD Safety Day. Class will begin at 1:00 PM on Sunday April 11th, hosted by Extreme Exposure. The address is 25 South Main Street, High Springs, Florida 32643.
