What is your best guesstimate on when Peacock will turn?
There are 3 kinds of people in this world; those who are good at math, and those who are not.
When the water is lower, Peacock turns at 27'. They reopened the park at just under 29'. It's at 28.5' now. I'm not sure what it does in this situation. I'm going to guess any significant rise will blow it out again.

I am looking at the NOAA river graphs and presently Peacock is at 28.72 and dropping, but if you look at the next station to the north-Dowling Park,it is dropping too.
Madison SR6 is at 49,and has dropped a lot,and continues to drop.
To get a clue of what to expect, when I check Valdosta river levels, they are not rising, but dropping (from 12' to 9'). That combined with the guages to the south that are dropping,it may be the worst has passed us.
Lets go diving, and don't forget the NFSA social April 3rd

my girlfriend (also cave diver) has been driving from Jax to Tally almost daily for the past three weeks... she says the suwannee (from I10) has been bouncing up down but has maintained a very high level compared to normal. The banks are underwater and the river level is up into the trees.... I guess it depends on what type of weather they are having in GA.

From 3/19 to today everything on the Suwannee and Withlacoochee is showing a drop, even the stations in Georgia.
