Hi from Sweden

Hi!
I just joined this forum. Trying to learn as much as possible about cave diving. Planning on doing a course this year in either Florida or Mexico.
I am mostly diving wrecks at the moment but i'm getting tired of being blown out all the time. I've been doing some sneaky missions into some caves and that got me hungry for more!
Have been diving CCR since 2005, diving a JJ-CCR now. So im lookin for a CCR cave course.
So if you have any suggestions about instructors or opinions about Mexico or Florida, any tips are welcome!

I just spent an awesome week down in Mexico cave diving with one of your countrymen. Lena Ericson did an awesome job leading our rowdy bunch of sidemounters. She's on her way to Sweden now for home-time and would be a great resource for you. I am sure that you'd enjoy either place. You need to decide if there are any extracurricular activities you would like to fit into your travel plans.

I started my training in the Jackson Blue/Marianna area. It worked out great for me. But, I've never heard anything but great reviews from folks doing classes in Mexico. (I haven't done any cave diving there, yet, myself.)

Oh, Jim, you don't want to go to Mexico. You wouldn't like the diving there AT ALL! I mean, the water is warm and crystal clear, the caves are incredibly beautiful and highly decorated, and the flow is virtually non-existant! You'd hate it! Plus, the food is so delicious and the people so incredible, you'll be miserable when it comes time to go home. It's awful, just awful, Jim!
