Default Mill Pond weekend May 9th

Dan and I did some dives at Mill Pond this past weekend, May 9th. Jackson Blue had about 100 foot of viz on Friday and about 150 foot on Sunday and kicking flow. Hole-In-The-Wall had minimal flow in the cave, a little flow at the entrance and about 40 foot viz in both the Upstream and Downstream.

    Can't wait to return.

I've stayed at Hole in the Wall House, and it was very comfortable, clean and convenient.
    I'd stay there again.

What makes the Mill Pond experience so enjoyable for me is the cheese and cracker social in Edd’s driveway. There is always a grouping (not sure what a group of cave divers are called, maybe a flock or a ram, or is that a ram of rhinos) of divers gathered talking about the day’s dive. I always seem to meet someone I don't know. It is interesting to find out where everyone is from and the places they have visted.

Good question! Maybe a puddle of cave divers? Like a huddle, only wetter.

Or a piddle - for those of us who dive wet or forget to close our pee valves...

Or judging by some of the discussions on the internet, maybe it should be a dispute of cave divers!

Can't be a herd, the cavers I know are definitely not herd animals!
