Just curious to see how many do and how many do not and at which sites. The poll allows you to give multiple answers, and dont worry no one can see who voted what. If you vote yes in Peacock please post at which site.

For those don't run lines at peacock which areas do you do this at?
Also for those who don't run a line in ginnie but do in little river, why?
I run a line at LR, Peacock, Ginnie...have not dove Manatee.
In fact, I have run a line at every cave I have dove. I don't mind running a line and it gives me that little extra good feeling knowing I have a continued line to OW / Surface. Do I think I really need a line in all systems, well no, but I will continue to run one.
Depends on conditions at Little River, such as near flood .
At Peacock I don't ONLY at the Main line or the Peanut line.
roadkill
The whole reason for a primary is safety. The lines at Ginnie, and P1 come close enough to the entrance to be safe, except when there is tanic water over the entrance. Little river is safe under ideal conditions, but it doesn't take much to make it unsafe.
Peacock 3 always needs a line, Manatee is a harder call, since so many people do a drift dive from Friedman's, but the line keeps getting moved, so that is pretty dangerous.
FWIW, It never hurts to run a primary anywhere, you never know what may happen while you are in the cave.
P1 almost never, OG everytime, Ginnie Depends on conditions, LR depends on conditions mostly how many gobbers are going to be there.
thanks for the responses so far. I find the answers interesting.
The shoals are there still, the winds howl loud, the rain beats down, the waves burst strong. Some night, in the chill darkness, someone will make a mistake: The sea will show him no mercy. John T. Cunningham
OG, Manatee, & LR yep I run the reel every time.
Ginnie (the Ear) and PI I don't usually run a reel, but it does depend on the team I am diving with.
