Nomad System - SOLD

I have a XXL Nomad System that I bought and I am not going to use. I was given one by a friend so the one I bought is still in the bag it came from Dive Rite in. This has never been used. I am letting it go at a loss $750.00

you can get them on sale for $489, the price was $699 until mid september.

I just talked to our rep. The price has gone way the heck up, so I don't think you'll be able to buy a new one anywhere near that. I have been bouncing around the idea of getting one, since I traded away my sidemount system last year.

I snoozed. I losed.

The change in price is from the cells being upgraded from the 50lb lift to the 60lb lift. Edd at Caveadventurers is still selling them within that five hundred dollar range last time I checked but they were the 50lbers not the 60lbers. He also has a system package available which includes everything you need minus your bottles for 945.00. FYI

They must have changed something else. $300 (as best I can tell) to get 10lbs more lift seems a tad high.

There were over $250 in accesories (cam bands, chokers, stage kits, and more..) added to the standard Nomad system back in March. Dive Rite absorbed all these items in the Nomad package for six months...the new pricing (Aug. 29th, 2008 ) reflects this addition of items, as well as a price increase on the basic (wing, Transpac, butplate, bungies).....

I have just looked at the add for the $500 or so Nomad. While that is a good deal at the bottom on the page it says that it does not come with all the hardware, tank straps, cam bands, etc; that makes it a Nomad System as sold by Dive Rite. It is a good price for the harness, back plate, and wing though.

Thats where my nomad came from during the $489 sale. I got all the cam bands, rigging, chokers, but only the 50lb wing.
