    Cave Diver Arrow Wing Question

I have been diving a Seatec wing for a long time and its close to giving up the ghost. I have started to look at replacing it and there are a lot of interesting choices to research since my original wing purchase. I was hoping to get some feedback to what has been working for you folks. I primarily dive double PST LP80s and being over 6 ft, I need lift towards my waist to get my legs up for proper trim. The OMS Larry Green wing looks interesting and I was wondering if anybody had any experience with it. Another option I am considering is the Rec wing from Dive Rite.

    Default Wing

I dove the Dive Rite Rec wing for quite a while and it worked very well. I went to the classic for the added lift after mine was stolen. I dive LP95's and at least one bottle usually. I would think the Rec should provide plenty of lift for LP80's alone.

    Default LG too long?

I would think the Larry Green wing might be too long. It does indeed move the lift down evenly along both sides of the double tanks, but I was thinking it was for longer heavier tanks than AL80's; more like steel 130's (or 104's).

I dive HP 120s which are just an inch longer then AL80s I liked my old original Dive Rite Wings and dove them til the glue (yes old original) disintegrated and the hose connection fell apart. Had a wide variety of wings I tried out and ended up using a Halcyon wing but really wanted a smooth shell good longer narrower wing. Tried an Oxycheck signature series and couldn't figure out why that didn't work well for me because it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for.

Saw the Larry Green wing bought it and basically worked perfectly. One thing I hated was inflators with the 45 deg oral inflate connection and I think OMS is the only ones around selling inflators with the 90deg. I think Larry Green I think comes with the 90 deg. Also I like pull dump so I replaced the standard hose connection and 20" hose with an 8" hose and a pull dump. I am very happy with it.

The Larry Green has less cross section so less drag then most wings and has a smooth skin and noticeably less grab then my last wing.

The signature Oxycheck wing is very similar. My girlfriend bought one of those and let me try it. She loves her's. There is no reason I can think of that the two would dive at all differently. Maybe the grommets are at a different height on the wings or it could have been me feeling off a bit the day I tried her's out. Kathleen dives the HP100s with are very similar to the LP85s in the water.

I can see Skips point on tank length but neight Kathleen or I are having a problem. The Larry Green wing has different grommet hole heights I think to adjust lift forward or back - I'm using the middle holes and it dives well with my HP120s.

I have a DR Rec wing that I dive w/dub. 72's,80's and a Classic wing for 95's. The rec works well for the smaller tanks. The Larry Green looks like a really nice wing as well.
