    Default Is Bonnet Open?

Since the water table is up a little at Peacock (and it is nearly clear) it has me wondering if Bonnet is open for diving. It was little more than a mud hole a few months back when I stopped to view it. Has the gator left the area. Any flow at all? Anyone diving it lately?

The shoals are there still, the winds howl loud, the rain beats down, the waves burst strong. Some night, in the chill darkness, someone will make a mistake: The sea will show him no mercy. John T. Cunningham

I missed that thread. The pictures tell it all. Last time I visited there it was low but had about twice the water shown in TJ's photos.

I've noticed a few of the tannic vents in Peacock have been real active, which would tell me that Bonnet probably doesn't look real good inside.
