Mike B had contacted me and wanted to know if I would like to do a dive or 2 in RBD. Well, the plan was set.

A few days later the weather had decided to get a tad cool and in my area we got 5 inches of snow. Well, Mike B got some up his way also and with him being closer to RBD then I am, I thought that they might have gotten more snow. Well they got a inch or 2 more then I got my way. Called him up to see ifhe was still up for the dive. You bet he was.

Met up with him Saturday morning at 9 wich was thespecified time. Chated and just got cought up on how things have been and what we both have been up to. Discussed our first dive plan and the gas and all that fun stuff.

On our first dive, plan was to hit 600' penatraion or 15 min to turn wich ever came first. Well I was in the leed and was looking for the 600' arrow and um well I found the 650' arow and hit that at the turn time. After ew got turned around and headed out, we exited the lower tunnle 19 minutes into the dive and made our pre aranged stops for deco for a nice dive. Hit max depth of 147' Total dive time of 46 minutes. Vis was about 15 foot plus or minus a foot, water temp a balmy 57*. The flow wsa up from the last time I was in but it was still down from what it used to be a few years ago from this drought that we are all suffering from.

Made another dive after a hour break. Noticed that the snow that wsa on the trail down to the spring was almost all melted and it was awarm 65* outside when it was cold and snow on the ground from the earlyer snowfall a few days before. This dive we made it to the 70' depth area and just relaxed on the way out to have a Dive time of 30 minutes on this dive. Removed our reel and all our tanks fromt he pool and noticed that I had porked in a mud hole after all the snow was melted on the trail. As we were changing and getting all our gear stowed we just got cought up on more from what we have been doing the last several months, then shook hands and thought about doing it all again next week but there is a chance of rain moving in later this week and it will mess it up just as the sprinng was starting to get divable again.
