    Default Emerald Conditions?

Anybody diving/dove Emerald this weekend that could give a conditions report? I heard a lot of rain fell over that way again Saturday.

I'm diving there Thursday [hopefully] so any word between now and Wednesday would be a big help.

    Thanks

I honestly can't speak for Emerald, but Gopher Sink(which is 2 miles away) was very nice, blue, and clear on Saturday. It rained pretty much all night(Fri) and Saturday, but it was a light rain... just constant.

I stopped by Emerald Sink this afternoon and the recent rains have not effected it.
    It was clear.

All went well. Goldline all the way to where it pinches down in the shallow cave. Goldline in the deeper cave from the cavern and down the longer passage on the right from the junction room. No more 4-way cross section. Put in a goldline horseshoe that takes care of the passage on the left and back of the junction room. Pulled out all explorer lines in the caves as well as in OW.

Dove Emerald to Cheryl today [Thursday 1-31], sink was black when we arrived.

    Vis was 15ft

20ft would be pushing it. This is pretty accurate since I was using the knotted gold line to measure.

Sheesh, I guess we won't be diving it anytime soon...

Hope you had a good dive though.

BTW, I got my mp3 player back!!!
