Dove Peaocock and Madison on 9-30, both of the caves were great with excellent visibility(60'+), atleast as far as I went, Peanut Restriction and Mounts Offshoot respectively. Peacock's OW section is a nasty cesspool w/5-10' of yellow/brown visibility that clears at about 10' of depth at the cavern entrance. Madison was pristine in OW.

Ginnie is typically a safe bet, but I haven't been there in quite some time.

On October 7, the Peacock basin was 2-3 feet viz until the cavern. Viz in the cavern was OK but Pothole and Peanut were great. Interestingly, on the exit from Peanut, we could not see the cavern exit after we made the turn at 100feet(?). Once we got closer, we could see it.

I have never paid any attention to where the cavern entrance was in relation to the steps until then. But I now know it is under the steps.

    Safe diving,

    Sandy Robinson

Hey bud - Is John coming with? We might get some cool nights here...fingers crossed. I miss the 12oz curls & conversations around the fire pit.

It's bad luck to be superstitious.
