Yeah, It's about time I get some tanks. Looking at $400-$500 depending on age and state of hydro/vip.

i have a set of pst 95's original hydro 11/98 current hydro 6/04 $500. but you can get 104's used from paul heinerth at scuba west 727 863-6911. don't know the prices though. gary

Here's the breakdown for steel tank pricing:

New PST E8-130 Doubles $1000
Used PST E8-130 Doubles $700
Used PST LP-104 Doubles (w/in 2 hydros) $500
Used PST LP-104 Doubles (more than 2 hydros) $400
Old PST 104 Doubles ('70s era tanks) $300

NOTE: Take $50 off those prices if the tanks are out of hydro or close to it (within 3 months); $25 off if the tanks are only out of VIP. If the manifold is yoke or not isolated, knock another $50 off. If the tanks have been used often in saltwater, knock another $50 off. Fabers and other painted tanks are similar prices, but knock $50 off because they are painted.
