    Default Want cave samples?

In case anyone is interested, I have a pretty good (but still limited) amount of water and sediment from Cannonball cave, MO. It comes from an area about p-1,000' at a depth a little below 100'. If anyone would like to have some of this material I'd be glad to send it to you. I thought it might be of mild interest to some science class somewhere, or perhaps even someone with more serious interests. I have examined the material myself and haven't found anything living, but my equipment is definitely not professional grade and I don't have a very well-trained eye. Even so, I have observed some curious clumps of silicate materials and individual polished mineral grains, as well as some things I just can't identify.
The sample has been kept in the original sterile collection container and has only been in contact with sterile equipment (pipette). I've got about 150ml left, so if you want some just holler and it's yours.

Oh yeah, I'm sure you could drink it, but YOU go FIRST! It's been in the bottle since Saturday 8/18.
