Diver one enters with the reel and diver two follows. Diver one ties off reel at the mainline and proceeds down the passage. After a very short distance (200ft) diver two observes diver one slow considerably then stop. Diver two then observes diver one "grab hold" of the wall as if diver one were steadying him/her self. Diver two gives ok? signal. Diver one responds with hold signal. Diver two responds with hold. About 20 seconds pass and diver one points at head and gives the hand rocking sign of "don't feel good" diver two then calls the dive with the thumb up and diver one agrees and returns the thumb up. Diver two wants to keep an eye on diver one so the team doesn't reverse order out as is usual. Diver two swims close and beside diver one where possible ready to render any assistance that may be needed. Diver one stops at the reel but diver two motions for diver one to leave it and the team begins exit. Diver one nearly becomes entangled in line in cavern but diver two quickly clears it. No further incidents till surface.
Diver two correctly assumed that diver one was dizzy as one had trouble with clearing one ear on the way down to the mainline. Diver two was concerned that diver one would get sick or not be able to swim and may have other problems. The decision to leave the reel in was an easy one as any delay could have caused a very serious problem. I'm very glad this didn't happen farther into the system.
