    Default 07/07/07 Scooter Race Times on Saturday, 7th...

    We still don't have a firm start time for the scooter race on Saturday, 7th at Ginnie Springs Outdoors. The run will be packed by noon... but what about the river? Does anyone have an opinion on the feasibility of using that for the race... around noon?

    ps: Sorry I'm so slow about getting a bikini shot of the trophy. I've been just too busy this month... Maybe tomorrow...

    do you need a scooter card to participate? Its one of those things were i dont have the time for the class anytime soon... but would love to race! (and win)

    It is not a requirement by the CDF Scooter Racing Rules... but I'll call Ginnie tomorrow and make sure there isn't an issue.

    Speaking of rules.... Can someone say what they are? Russell?

    Must have at least 2 functional tanks rigged for diving?

    Why not... it would be a short cave dive, but would have the basic need for redundancy there...

    Last year we went by the NSS-CDS manual's requirements for Full Cave: 144 cubic feet in redundant cylinders, safety reel, primary light, two backup lights...

    At least one participant didn't have a scooter card, but the GSO employee at the site said it didn't matter since we were in the spring run only.

    As Bob said earlier in a thread somewhere on the forum... The race will be at 10a.m. at the run (maybe the river) near Little Devils. Participants need to be hanging out and ready around 9:45 a.m.
