    Default Rain trees at PSSP

We have gotten 3.5 inches of rain since last night, the park is closed to open water and cavern divers for the rest of today 6-2-07, no viz in the sinks. I want to give a very big THANK YOU to Bill Rennaker who showed up with a chainsaw and an employee in hand to clear the trees that fell across the road in the park, I also want to thank Mike and Gene for helping us, they all went above and beyond the call of duty, a special thank you to Mike the chain saw operator-you did a great job.
    Thanks
    Janet

Janet, i noticed last weekend that many trees are down and some big trees are chewed or chopped ??? I wonder if Ginnie's mad beaver was brought to Peacock to take over a grown gators population.

    Default Beaver

That is PSSP's resident beaver, it's too big for the gator residing there with it, the beaver is staying out of the water more since it is cutting the trees along the walkway, so the viz in the basin was better until the rain came, we ended up with 3.5" at the park and 4.7" at my house.

Given that conditions become normal. Janet, what is the current park policy on open water diving? Is OG accessible for OW, or only class, or w/guide (w/OW limits of course)?
