I liked Ron, I liked him a lot. Ron was the Laboratory Instrument Maker for the psychology department at the University of Virginia, I was the lab. inst. maker for the physiology department, we got each others orders all the time. Plus, we were both cavers, what are the odds? He was by far much, much more "hard core" about caving than I was. He was quite the cave photographer, woodworker, electronics type, he did a lot of things. I keep thinking of things. I knew him pretty well while I was at the university.

Anyway, he wouldn't want anyone moping around. If someone tried to eulogize him he'd probably rise up from the dead and walk out. I'll miss him, but I won't mourn him. I plan to get a bit hammered tonight. He could party. He'd probably like that.

Galen, I am truly sorry for the loss of your friend. I forgot that you had worked at the U of Virginia. How's the property?
