He Running Low?
I work at publix and they sent an email out last week about a national shortage of Helium and we wont have any till the 1st of the year I was wondering if anyone else has heard this and if the know if it will affect supplies and prices??

Yes, there's a helium shortage. NPR did a piece on it last week. THEN OMIGOD LMAO! The reporter sucked some helium to sign off with a Donald Duck voice. A letter to the editor that they apparently believed without question was that "Don't try this at home because helium is toxic to your lungs!" OK, so you could go hypoxic if you're stupid. But toxic????? Geez, I'd be dead if that were the case!
Apparently there's a plant in Texas that is undergoing maintenance and will be shut off for a while. I didn't catch the whole story. I'll post back if I find it.
