    Default DOG Days at Manatee

I was at Mantee yesterday afternoon and observed that a certain drysuit manufacturer was already setting up, training staff and getting ready for the "DOG Days" event they are doing there this weekend. I have no opinion regarding the event, but based on the large tents, racks of dozens of drysuits and number of staff, it appears that it will be quite a production. Probably not a good weekend to dive in Catfish, as that seemed to be where most of the activity was going to be.

I think they are doing Dog Days in part with the GUE Conference this weekend...

The DUI and Halcyon folks had a special event on Thursday for the conference; DUI are set up at Manatee on sat/sun on their own for their annual Dog Days event that is expected to draw several hundred divers a day from around the state.

    best,

    Anthony
