    vis great but a small gator @ pea 1

    Here is a picture of it... Look close at the water... its a small one (guess, 40 inches). It has taken up house into the rocks to the right of the steps (facing down them).

    he shrunk beween Saturday and Sunday.....Saturday there was one about 6 ft long on the rocks....

    Default Don't fear the gator

    Fear the stuff in OG. I heard a popular North FL instructor got bad JUJU from the animals playing, eating and eventually pooping in the water.

    I had a good dive there Sat but did have that thought in my mind the whole dive. We all used plenty of ear beer that day. We need a little rain to clear things out a bit.

    On the gator hanging around, Janet told me he has been reported since he getting so close. Janet can tell you more though if she wants to speak up.

    I saw it last sunday at P1 as well, it was swimming across the run between P1 and P2 as I was exiting - very cool to see a gator in its element up close.

    I hope they do not evict him/her, he/she was not acting agressive and it was a very cool wildlife experience at the end of a dive.
