The LM VF LED is actually a 32W LED.

    Their 35W is an HID.

and if you have a second one, let me know. Something tells me there won't be a lot of these used on the market.

Anyone with experience with these lights? How is it compared to Halcyon Focus 2.0?

I hope it's a good light. I just ordered one without my usual amount of obsessive over researching.

Have you dived it yet? Whats your experience? Have you tried it next to the H Focus 2.0?

Yep got one about 3 months ago, very happy with it, good solid beam of white light light that can be easily enlarged if needed.

I've got about a month on mine now diving in the Great Lakes ( Chicago and Traverse City) Lake Travis (Austin, TX) and the Texas Flower Gardens. It's a nice light... do feel a bit guilty about spending that much on a light.

My first dive in Lake Travis had a lot of particulate in the water and I had to turn it down to level 3. The dives in the great lakes and later dives (especially night dives) had less particulate and I was able to crank it up. It is hard to see my buddies light when I do this... good thing I solo dive a lot. For the Flower Gardens I could crank it up to level 5 and spread the beam out while I was on the anchor line and see the whole reef on a night dive. But I had to turn it down when I was diving because I felt like I was being obnoxious to the sea life.

I the focus spot beam is tight. It doesn't unfocus as much as my HID did. I've never had it in a cave but I think it would be great as long as you can see your buddies light.
