Thread: Thomas Spring

    Default Thomas Spring

This past weekend I was sitting in my truck eating a sandwich and looking at the huge painting of "The Springs of Luraville" on the side of the Luraville store. They show a spring called "Thomas" and on the painted map it shows it to be down the road from the luraville store and in the opposite direction of peacock. I tried to drive down that way and find it but all i found was a maze of dirt roads leading into land thats being cleared. It looks like its right on the river, atleast on the map. Has anyone even heard of this place?

Thomas Spring is about 4 mi NW. of Luraville on the east bank of the Suwannee River. Drive about 2 and a half miles N. from Luraville on 51, turn left (west) and go about 4 mi to the river. The spring is about a half mile south.

It sounds like you are giving directions to Charles spring. Is Thomas near it?

    John,

They are different. I have added a map to show the two springs.
