    Default Newly Certified Cavern Diver

Looking to get some new tech gear for my venture into the darker realm and eventually into the full dark realm. The following are items I am in need of -

    Primary 400' reel
    backplate and harness
    doubles wing w/ 45-55lbs lift
set of doubles or 6.9" bands and manifold for my lp72's (not interested in 95's, 130's)

Will be listing my almost new medium Hollis SMS75 for trade or sale because I have found sidemount is not really ideal for the types of dives I am now more interested in. It has no permanent modifications made and exactly 50 dives mostly freshwater. Very well rinsed and taken care of every time as I had been I divemaster in training and demonstrating gear maintenance after almost every dive.

My gf went back to bm earlier this year after 3 years of sm'ing. Kinda floored me. I'm hoping to reconvert her.

PS I have a 60lb halcyon donut wing in near mint condition for sale. I can send you the info if you're interested.

Thanks for the replies! I was very enticed by all research about sidemount. Looking back though, they can be a pain to use when boat diving, especially with large cylinders that I would need for the amount of gas I would need for deeper dives. Sure there are thousands of opinions and ways to rethink this, but with my entry level experience in the tech world and the fact that I don't even plan to take intro to cave until I log AT LEAST 50 more cavern dives, I think it would be wise to minimize the amount of skills I need to work on before doing sidemount fulltime. Too many skills to work on at once and I want to minimize task loading until I have more experience.
