Hey all,
I think I left my fins at Ginnie last weekend. If anyone happened to pick up a pair last Sun (3/5) let me know and I'll buy you dinner or something.
They were black jet fin look alikes with rubber straps turned inside out.
Thanks!!
Rick

Rick,
Don't hold your breath if you left them at Ginnie. I left a computer on the picnic table there a few years ago. Realized I did so when I got to the main road....turned around and went back right away. GONE, poof. Never to be heard from again.
Now, on the other hand, I did leave a pair of fins at Peacock once.....got all the way to Branford and realized I did so. Headed back and they were on the table where I had left them. Not so lucky with a long underwear shirt at Peacock tho.... Oh well.
It all really depends on *who* finds them.

Yeah... Guess I'll have to go get another pair in the next couple of days. Dangit... I liked those fins....

Rick, call the Ginnie Springs office. They had my fins turned in last time I left them there. They have stuff logged in a book that people turn in. Cindy Butler

Did you happen to forget your sandals as well?? Call the front desk and ask them to check on the back where lost and found are, right next by the ladders.Originally Posted by rick68fl

I called them today and the guy said there weren't any... He didn't check the lost and found bin, just looked in the book.
I'll try back tomorrow and maybe I'll get someone who will actually go look for me.
Thanks
if they dont find them tomorrow, send me a PM with a detailed description of the fins. I will look for them on Friday.
It will be really sad if someone else lost fins that weekend and they were the same with yours.

I picked them up yesterday. Thanks!!
I showed up yesterday and told them that you had found them and where you had left them... still no one could find them. I hung out for a half hour, then I did a dive. When I went back after the dive I started all over again and finally the red headed woman (I don't know her name) went back and found them.
Anyway...Thanks Man!! I had already bought a new pair, but now I have a spare pair. I owe you a couple of beers next time I see you.
Rick
Not a problem, I was just doing my job.Originally Posted by rick68fl
